Itinerary
Stop: Khayber Hotel
Upon arrival at Kabul International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred by private vehicle to your hotel for check-in. Depending on your arrival time, we may visit a local tailor where you can have traditional Afghan garments custom-made. Later, you will walk through the historic Old Bird Market and then continue to Wazir Akbar Khan Hill for a panoramic view of the city. The evening is for rest and adjustment at your hotel. Overnight stay at Khyber Hotel, a secure 4-star accommodation.
Stop: Khayber Hotel
After breakfast at the hotel, the day begins with a visit to the National Museum of Afghanistan, where you will see an extensive collection of artifacts and cultural treasures. From there, you will explore Darul-Aman Palace, an architectural landmark with deep historical significance. In the afternoon, you will walk through Babur Garden, a beautifully restored Mughal site and the resting place of Emperor Babur. Before returning to the hotel, there will be a short stop at Kabul Zoo. Overnight stay at Khyber Hotel.
Stop: Gholghola Hotel
After breakfast, you will leave Kabul for Bamyan on a scenic drive through the central highlands, which takes about four hours. Upon arrival, you will check in at Gholghola Hotel for a two-night stay. The afternoon will be spent exploring Bamyan city, meeting locals, and visiting the famous Buddha Statues, which stand as historic symbols of Bamyan’s cultural heritage. Overnight at Gholghola Hotel, a 4-star accommodation.
Stop: Gholghola Hotel
After breakfast at the hotel, you will head to Band-e-Amir National Park, known for its chain of deep blue lakes surrounded by striking cliffs. In the afternoon, you will explore the ancient Gholghola City, also called the City of Scream, followed by a visit to the Valley of the Dragon (Dare Azhdahar). After the day’s visits, you will return to the hotel for rest. Overnight stay at Gholghola Hotel.
Stop: Khayber Hotel
Following breakfast, the day begins with a visit to Zohak City, also known as the Red City, an important archaeological site in Bamyan. Around mid-morning, you will start your return journey to Kabul, which takes about four hours. On arrival, you will spend time exploring Mandawi Bazaar and De Afghanan, one of Kabul’s oldest markets, offering an authentic look at local life. Overnight stay at Khyber Hotel, a 4-star accommodation.
Stop: Kabul International Airport
After breakfast, you will have some free time to explore more of Kabul depending on your departure schedule. If time allows, you can enjoy some last-minute shopping in local markets before being transferred to Kabul International Airport for your flight.
